Independent Consultancy Service

BuyACar4Less operates purely as an independent vehicle buying consultancy.

I work exclusively on behalf of the client and have no affiliation with, or financial interest in:

  • Vehicle dealerships

  • Finance companies

  • Warranty providers

  • Insurance providers

  • GAP insurance companies

  • Breakdown providers

  • Vehicle sourcing platforms

  • Third-party commission schemes

I do not receive commission, referral fees, incentives, or payments from any third party.

All advice, recommendations, negotiations, and guidance are provided independently and are based on over 40 years of practical experience working across the motor trade, including technical, operational, sales management, purchasing, and dealership leadership roles.

My role is to provide clear, honest, consultative support designed to help clients make informed vehicle purchasing decisions and achieve the best possible overall outcome.

Finance and Financial Information

BuyACar4Less does not provide regulated financial advice.

Any discussions regarding finance are limited to general observations surrounding vehicle pricing, affordability, finance structures, depreciation, part exchange values, and the wider financial implications of changing vehicle.

All regulated financial advice, suitability assessments, credit approvals, finance recommendations, and contractual explanations remain solely the responsibility of the finance provider, lender, or broker selected by the client.

Clients are responsible for reviewing and understanding all finance agreements and associated documentation before entering into any contractual arrangement.

BuyACar4Less does not act as a credit broker and does not receive commission or financial incentives from lenders or finance providers.

Scope of Service

Depending on the service package selected (Bronze, Silver or Gold), consultancy services may include:

  • Vehicle and market analysis

  • Deal reviews

  • Finance structure guidance

  • Part exchange assessment

  • Negotiation support

  • Vehicle sourcing assistance

  • Dealer liaison and representation

  • General purchasing guidance

BuyACar4Less does not sell vehicles directly and cannot guarantee dealer acceptance of negotiations, vehicle availability, finance approval, or future vehicle values.

All final purchasing decisions remain solely the responsibility of the client.

Fees & Payment Terms

Initial Telephone Consultation

An initial telephone conversation is provided free of charge and without obligation. This allows an opportunity to discuss your current situation, understand your requirements, and determine whether the consultancy service is appropriate for your needs.

Booking Confirmation & Deposit

Once a consultation or service package has been agreed and booked, a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the agreed fee is required to secure the appointment and allocate consultancy time.

The remaining balance is payable on the day of consultation or commencement of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Cancellation Policy

Due to the time allocation, preparation, and scheduling involved, the 25% deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation by the client.

However, reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate appointment rescheduling where sufficient notice is provided.

Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information

  • Reviewing all dealer documentation before signing

  • Making final purchasing decisions

  • Ensuring finance agreements are fully understood

  • Independently verifying any information they consider material to their purchase

BuyACar4Less provides guidance and opinion based on professional experience but cannot accept liability for dealership conduct, vehicle defects, lender decisions, or third-party representations.
